Netfluential

Netfluential is an agency that continues to evolve and move into new directions and spaces, to keep us ahead of the masses and passionate about what we do.

Starting life out as a Saas tech player for the research industry, over the years Netfluential has developed into a leading mixed method ad-hoc research agency, fostering long term relationships with stellar brands like PayPal, Formula 1 and Samsung and helping challenger brands and start-ups find their way to success.

We have come to another fork in the road recently where we feel we are no longer are satisfied in providing excellent insights for brands to take key decisions but harbour a desire to influence more of the entire process of change and transformation within a business, be that brand strategy, NPD or communications.

We know how to do research well and our insights are valued by our long-standing customer relationships. We now wish to make a bold step and offer more end-to-end solutions becoming more integral to a client’s business challenges and opportunities, selling in not at the insights function but the marketing / product function.

This is not something that will happen overnight but will be a mid to long term project of transformation for Netfluential that is already underway, including the development of new methods and frameworks. Key to this are ideas and people and we are looking to adjust and bolster our team to prepare for different challenges, moving from only delivering perfect research to delivering full scale projects aimed at mid-sized / challenger brands initially.

At Netfluential in this role you will sit alongside young bright rising stars at the same level that are asked to push leadership and actively contribute to the future direction and success of the business. Much will be expected but in turn freedom, responsibility and rewards will be on offer.

Specifically, what we are looking for:

  • Someone who is a current AD or recent RD and is looking for a fresh challenge.

  • A top professional market researcher with demonstrable mixed method experience in ad-hoc research who is keen to develop and foster a more strategic relationship with key customer accounts and willing and able to develop new relationships in a consultative way.

  • A good understanding of commercial relationships with customers and a focus on client needs, project quality and team development.

  • Must have worked for a considerable stint at a small / mid-sized agency as we feel it is important you know what it is like to operate within a smaller setup.

  • A complete self-starter, motivator, proven leadership experience and ambition and mentoring capacity.

  • A tech savvy, system thinker with up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in psychology

  • Internationally minded (second language a plus).

  • Aware of, and active user of technology-based research methods.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing key accounts, not in the sense of getting the next research brief but understanding how we can play a greater role in the end-to-end support against critical business challenges / opportunities.

  • Planning and monitoring the delivery of research projects and solutions

  • Maintenance / development of research quality standards.

  • Assisting in the management of research team including developing capabilities and career planning.

  • Driving business revenue, collaborating with the leadership on business development and marketing efforts

What are we like?

We are a collective of different individuals (11 of us currently), with each of us bringing something unique to the table. We all have different backgrounds, beliefs, superpowers, and dreams, but we work as a team and play as a team, be it having a few drinks in the sunshine on our roof top terrace or down the karaoke bar singing our hearts out.

We value passion, honesty, humour, and collaboration.

We don’t do hierarchical structures, timesheets, teams within teams, or any other bureaucracy that slows us down. Netfluential invests in people’s learning, develop passions and above all give you the freedom and responsibility to make things happen for you and for your team.

Location of work: Netfluential has always believed in a flexible approach to where and when team members work. We give every team member the responsibility to manage their time and communicate clearly with colleagues to ensure work gets done when it needs to and done well. We do not police time (or ask for pesky timesheets), but as a young team and working in a highly collaborative industry we feel it is paramount our senior people are in the office to help shape our graduates and junior team members who greatly benefit from being around experienced team members. There will be an expectation you work from our Farringdon offices 3 to 4 days a week and 5 if you wish.

We regularly travel for work given our international client base and you will be expected to travel from time to time.

Holidays: 24 days (excluding public holidays, so in fact 32 paid days off in total) as standard for everyone.

Basic pay: £55k -75k depending on experience with a 12-month performance and salary review.

Bonus: We operate an employee profit scheme which has resulted in roughly 15%-20% of basic pay-outs over the last 7 consecutive years.

Other benefits: Mobile phone and contract, Life insurance and GP service health care support

To apply please email your CV and a covering letter (please note that we will not look at any applications that are submitted without a covering letter – they matter!) explaining why you are interested in the role and Netfluential to jobs@netfluential.com
